Owned by My Ex's Godfather - How To Watch Free

Synopsis

Anne had spent months building something with Jimmy, the charming and well-connected heir to one of the most powerful criminal families in the underworld. The night she decided to take their relationship to its next step became the defining catastrophe of her life. She woke up beside Adrian, not Jimmy. The godfather. The man who shaped the empire Jimmy only stands to inherit, cold and deliberate in every move he makes. What felt private and irreversible became spectacularly public at a lavish gathering the following day, where the full truth landed in front of everyone who mattered. Now Anne exists at the center of something she never consented to enter, pulled between a godson who feels personally destroyed and a godfather who has quietly decided that what happened between them was not an accident to be forgotten but a claim to be enforced.

Fascinating Curiosities About the Series

Owned by My Ex's Godfather launched as a NetShort exclusive in late March 2026 and became one of the platform's fastest-spreading titles of the season, with viewer clips and reaction content flooding TikTok and YouTube within days of the first episodes going live.
The series is produced by Netstory Pte., the Singapore-based studio behind some of NetShort's most consistently successful originals, bringing to this production the same sharp episode structure and high-tension scene construction that has defined the studio's reputation on the platform.
Adrian is one of the most carefully written male leads in the vertical drama format, occupying a space between threat and protector that shifts subtly from episode to episode, making it genuinely impossible to predict whether his obsession with Anne will ultimately destroy her or become the most powerful shield she has ever had.
The rivalry between Adrian and Jimmy gives the series a mafia succession dimension that most forbidden romance stories lack entirely, turning every scene the two men share into a collision of ego, power, and competing claims that goes far deeper than jealousy over a woman.
The public revelation scene at the high-society gathering is constructed as a masterclass in short-form dramatic escalation, layering social humiliation, personal betrayal, and criminal politics into a single sequence that viewers consistently cite as the moment the series fully declared what kind of story it intended to be.
Anne's arc resists the passive heroine trap from the very beginning, positioning her as someone fighting constantly to understand and reshape the terms of a situation she was pulled into without warning, giving her journey genuine momentum and making her choices feel consequential rather than decorative.
The series builds its episode structure around genuine and irreversible plot progression, with each installment advancing the central power struggle between Adrian and Jimmy while pushing Anne deeper into a world that grows more dangerous and more magnetic with every decision she makes.
